Since 1974, Area Agency on Aging has been a leader in providing 24-hour, in-home care to people of all ages.  We are non-profit, home-based and dedicated to helping you and your loved ones realize a better quality of life through individually-tailored care. Our mission is to assist older individuals in maintaining desired lifestyles through accessible and affordable alternatives.

Area Agency on Aging of Western Arkansas, Inc. has 8 offices that provide services in Franklin, Logan, Polk, Scott, Sebastian, and Crawford Counties. Services are provided in Johnson (Clarksville), Montgomery (Mt. Ida), and Washington (Winslow) Counties doing business as Visiting Nurses Agency. Medicaid transportation services are provided in all counties, plus Conway and Pope Counties.

We provide care without regard to race, religion, color, sex, creed, national origin, age or physical or mental handicap. We provide services to individuals who have greatest economic need with particular attention to low-income minority individuals and older individuals residing in rural areas who have the greatest economic need. We bill Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance, and accept donations, memorials and private pay.
